Pastor Emeritus, Founder, and Senior Pastor

Pastor Emeritus LaTanya Smith

Women of Faith Ministry, Founder

Pastor Emeritus LaTanya Smith, affectionately known as Pastor Tan, is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, born at Hughes Spalding Hospital to the late Curtis and Carol Collins. Raised in a Christian household as one of six siblings, she accepted Christ at a young age and began her spiritual journey at Mayson Chapel Baptist Church. Her early commitment to ministry laid the foundation for a lifetime of service.

With over 25 years of ministry experience, Pastor Smith served 14 years in the United Methodist Church in multiple roles, including Prayer Leader, Youth Leader, and Ministerial Staff. From 2007 to 2018, she faithfully served as Co-Pastor of Greater Faith Family Ministries. In 2016, she was nationally and internationally ordained by the Restoration of Life Mission Christ Church in St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica.

In 2019, she founded My Father’s House Pentecostal Church, and celebrated the 6th Church Anniversary on October 5, 2025—a testament to her steadfast commitment to kingdom growth and community impact. Whether preaching, teaching, or mentoring, she is known for her ability to inspire, uplift, and empower those she leads. Senior Pastor Smith celebrated her 17th Pastoral Appreciation on October 5, 2025, retiring from My Father's House Pentecostal Church, and entered into full-time Chaplaincy Ministry.

Pastor Emeritus Smith is a lifelong learner and academic achiever. She holds dual Master’s Degrees—a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theological Studies—from Liberty University’s John Rawlings Divinity School. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Chaplaincy, completion date December 12, 2025. In addition, she earned an Associate and Bachelor's Degree in Education—from University of Phoenix. A dedicated educator, she has taught for Clayton County Public Schools for seven years (2017–2024) and is now teaching in Douglas County Public Schools (2024–202 5, 2025-2026).

Her passion is clear: to fulfill God’s divine purpose by saving souls, changing lives, and advancing the Kingdom of God.

Her personal motto:
“Let your light shine, so men can see your good works and glorify God!”

 Youth Minister

CFO & Church Business Coordinator

Minister Tavia Crawford is a passionate and multi-gifted leader who has been faithfully serving since the church’s founding six years ago. She holds several key roles within the ministry, including Minister of Music, Worship Leader, Youth Minister, Chief Financial Officer, and Church Business Coordinator.

Tavia leads with excellence—overseeing praise and worship, managing all musical components of service, preparing worship lyric presentations, directing all church choirs (Youth, Men, Women, Combined), and leading the “Youth in Action” choir. She also plays a pivotal role in planning church events, supporting church operations, handling church finances, and creating and editing the monthly church newsletter.

Her foundation in ministry began before birth—raised in the church, she is a proud descendant of reverends, pastors, and bishops. Today, she carries that legacy forward, serving faithfully alongside her son, who attends and participates in ministry with her. Tavia is known for her heart for worship and her commitment to creating an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Outside the church, Minister Tavia is a professional educator with nearly a decade of experience in the field of education. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology and School Library Media. Her career spans leadership, teaching and learning, project coordination, program management, curriculum writing, and leading professional development for educators.

In 2025, she successfully launched her first business, Luvnme, a brand rooted in the principles of self-love and self-care. Through this venture, she empowers others to prioritize their well-being—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—while promoting wholeness and healing through faith-based inspiration.

Her favorite scriptures, Jeremiah 29:11 and Isaiah 40:31, reflect her unwavering faith and hope in God's plan. She lives by the motto: “Leading with purpose, serving with passion,” and often says, “I want everything I do to be done with a spirit of excellence.”

Minister Tavia deeply loves her church, her pastors, and her God—and believes this is a place where people can grow, be empowered, and walk fully in their purpose.
